Start-Ups and High-Growth

Entrepreneurs and high-growth organizations seem to operate on a different space-time continuum than the rest of the world. Things happen at warp speed. There are many hats to be worn and often not enough heads. There’s no shortage of ideas, and for those who are students of innovation, they know that while ideation is fun, it’s all about execution.

When launching a new product or service – whether it’s a start-up effort or an established organization – you need a team of experienced practitioners to keep the project moving ahead efficiently and on budget. If you lack the internal resources, you may choose to outsource some of that work to experienced practitioners who bring years of experience to the table.

Some projects you may need to outsource include:

  • Researching a new market opportunity to evaluate the competitive landscape and what the optimal positioning would be.

  • Devising a go-to market strategy and resources to help execute it.

  • Creating a website and digital presence that support your business goals and align with your brand promise.

Michelle Massa, the consultant behind Vital Assets Marketing, has driven marketing efforts for two internet start-ups, one of which was purchased by Ariba Software in 2000.  She created a highly profitable distribution network in the U.S. for a UK-based manufacturer. With that same company, she also helped launch several new products in the personal care materials market, including the first USDA-certified organic liquid castile soap base for private label manufacturers.

In the higher education sector, Michelle has researched markets, studied different learning delivery models, worked with top marketing professors, and helped to launch new executive programs, including one in collaboration with Google.
